The Loufan Xinkaiyuan Iron Ore Project is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The filling station is equipped with two independent filling systems, each capable of delivering 80 m³/h. When both systems operate simultaneously, the hourly filling capacity increases to 160 m³. In terms of operational efficiency, the station operates continuously for 330 days per year, 24 hours a day. The core filling process is carried out in two shifts, with each shift lasting eight hours, achieving a maximum daily filling capacity of 2,560 m³ (160 m³/h × 16 h).
In terms of core equipment configuration, the plant is equipped with a 16-meter‑deep conical thickener, enabling highly efficient slurry thickening. For the critical conveying stage, two lift‑valve‑type industrial filling pumps are employed, utilizing an advanced dual‑pump merging technology: both pumps simultaneously deliver slurry into the same pipeline. The key advantage of this technology lies in its integration of high‑precision check valves and an intelligent control system; these components operate in a well‑defined, coordinated manner without interfering with one another, ensuring that at any given time at least one delivery cylinder remains in the pushing mode. This effectively reduces pipeline vibration and operational noise, thereby guaranteeing an efficient, stable, and reliable slurry‑transport process.
