Paste filling is generally used in goaf filling. Then, in the process of paste filling and pumping, we often encounter the problem of full-pipe pump pressure transportation. Paste is pumped from the surface to the underground, which is different from the upward pressure pumping of concrete from the surface to high-rise buildings, it is also different from high-concentration gravity gravity self-flow transportation, which can maintain a half-pipe state (slurry injection at a certain height). For pumping requirements, the whole line must be in a full flow state to operate normally. Therefore, the pipeline must be filled at the beginning of pumping.
There are two methods. According to foreign data, the stop valve on the pipeline (usually located at the bottom of the shaft or at the bottom of the borehole) is closed. The stop valve is operated by electric hydraulic pressure and can be controlled remotely at the ground pumping station. Start to fill the borehole and pipeline with water, then put at least two sponge rubber balls, and then start to slowly press paste into the filling pipe. At this time, the stop valve is slowly opened to make the pumping paste flow equal to or slightly greater than the displacement of clean water. Normal pumping cannot be started until the sponge rubber balls are released at the cut-off or outlet.

This method is complex and difficult to master, in addition to the use of self-flow straight-through full pipe method. The electro-hydraulic cut-off is in the open state, and the slurry with low concentration and no coarse aggregate is slowly pumped into the borehole and pipeline, and the pumping flow is gradually increased until the slurry is seen in the stope, and then the co-feed concentration is increased and coarse aggregate is added. Practice has proved that this method is feasible.
